“Hey guys, we are bringing this new TMPLHOF team edition frame in 2018. Some custom-made wheels in there would be great, don’t you think?” When 8bar founder Stefan contacted us last autumn with this info, our response was more or less clear: “Are you kidding, Stefan ?! Yeah, for sure!” Supporting the 8bar team since three years now and being our very first partner in the fixed gear racing scene this cooperation project was a matter of fact. Check out the gallery to find out more about the details of this unique project.

Here it is ! The all new 8bar TMPLHOF with unique “dot-design” and matching brand-new TRC 1400 DICUT wheels.
Wheels, frame and saddle feature the unique dot design that is inspired by the CMYK team edition scheme from the last two seasons.
If you are looking closely you can see much love to detail. The overlaying of dots in different angles and colors results into new mixed colors with unique patterns.
The “dot-design” is a fully connected pattern spread over frameset, wheels and even the saddle.
The TRC 1400 DICUT wheels feature our new fixed gear hub based on the 240s DICUT aero hub with a unique lacing pattern and very clean and reduced hub shell.
The 65mm deep carbon rims are tubeless ready and offer a huge improvement in aerodynamic performance compared to the previous version.
The 2018 teamkit & complete bike perfectly match and are definitely one of the hottest combos in the fixed gear racing scene.
Next to the TMPLHOF there is also a new team edition of the 8bar MITTE All-Road-Bike with our ERC 1100 DICUT wheels.
MITTE or TMPLHOF ? What is your favorite bike ?
Stefan going all out on the new bike in last week’s RADRACE Last One Standing in Berlin.
Making it to the finals and grabbing the wooden medal for fourth place the racing debut of the all-new TMPLHOF was a success.

Check out the complete coverage of the racing day at the RADRACE Last One Standing from 8bar teamrider Francis Cade. Stay tuned for more news and watch out for the “dot-design” all across the globe at the fixed gear racing scene.
